Friends of the Himalayan Children Ride ScootaCo hosted a small fundraiser ride to support the FHC Foundation with great success! Leonie Griffiths
On November 15th ScootaCo held a ride for the Friends of the Himalayan Children Foundation, to support the work that Som Tamang has been doing in Nepal to help children in remote regions. His primary focus is to build classrooms and hostels enabling them to be educated closer to home.
ScootaCo organised a small ride with customers and supporters of the FHC Foundation. We started at the shop on Anderson Street and headed up to the Lake Morris Café – giving a perfect opportunity for new riders and old to experience the Copperlode ride.
At the Lake Morris Café Som explained what it is like in Nepal and what he’s doing to change the lives of so many people, along with discussing the opportunities we have to support his Charity and ideas for raising money.
