REVIEW: 1st Motorcycle Expo +1 ScootaCo joined forces with the two-wheeled community of Cairns and the surrounding regions to make the second round of the Kuranda Motorcycle Expo another great success Leonie Griffiths We were expecting great things from the 1st Motorcycle Expo +1, and not only did the show deliver great bikes, but great people and a great atmosphere.
Reports of the day say that thousands passed through the gates on Saturday, and we're happy to say that ScootaCo was there to represent the best scooters around.
The highlight for us was the awards. The categories chosen this year to be presented included; Best
EVO, Best Twin Cam, Best pre84, Best Sporty, Best Custom, Best
Original, Best Ducati, Best Old Ducati, Best Ladies Ducati, Best Ladies
Bike, Best Rat, Best Paint Job, Best Scooter, Best Bike Rider Combo,
Best British, Best Triumph, Best Euro, Best Restored, Best Vintage,
Best Italian, Best New Jap, Best Old Jap, Best Kawasaki, Best Yamaha,
Best Trailbike, Best Trike/or Outfit, Best in the Car Park, Best Long
Distance, People’s Choice Award, and Best in Show.
ScootaCo left with a trophy for Best Scooter - our MP3 grabbing the attention of the motorcycle masses with it's three wheel technology and odd looks.
If you missed the show this year, mark it on your calendar for next year! It's a must see event!
Now some photos from the day:

Linc loading the GTV up. Of course, he does the work while I stay behind the camera.
S 50 and GTV ready to hit the road.
Three Vespas and an MP3. Small display, but only the best.
Our scooters looking over the crowd after a spectacular afternoon.

The grounds from the stage as everyone packs up. There were loads of people still hanging around for the night time entertainment.
Back at the shop, the winning scooter with it's trophy.
The trophy
And yes, we won our own trophy.
Our thanks to the Kuranda Amphitheatre, the folks that ran the show and everyone that went - with the success of this year we'll be up there again next year for an even bigger and better show!
